What is the BEST age for newborn photos? 🤍

For those classic sleepy, curly newborn photos, my sweet spot is usually 5–21 days old.
Babies are often still very sleepy at this stage, which makes it easier to gently move them between poses while they're comfortable and settled.
This little guy was 12 days old, and he slept through all of this. 🤍
But remember, there is no magic expiration date on newborn photos. Beautiful photos can still be created when baby is older. Every baby is different, and I always follow baby's cues.
If you're expecting, don't wait until baby arrives to start thinking about your session. My calendar can fill before your due date, so booking during pregnancy gives you the best chance of getting your preferred timeframe.
