Golden View Photography I specialize in landscape and animal photography, however, any moment that's golden I try and capture Hi! Welcome to my photography page!

My name's Samantha /Sam (the one behind the camera). My love of photography stemmed from wanting to capture landscape scenes and all the farm animals, tamed and wild, to have lasting memories. The farm has been such an inspiration by witnessing nature's beauty, and my photography name plays a bit on our farm name. Over the years I have broadened my horizons a bit from just landscape/animal portrai

ture, and I will do the occasional family session upon request! At the moment, I am only taking clients by request, as I lead a busy life holding down 2 other jobs outside of my photography business. If I open to hold mini or normal sessions regularily, I will post an update! You may wonder what type of photos you will see me primarily posting on this page? My family farm holds many wonderful photography opportunities, and is my main place of inspiration - you can also check out our farm page "Golden Meadow Farm" if you want primarily cow photos in your feed! You will see various scenes, from fields and meadows, the critters on our farm, and wildlife we have crossing our paths. And simpler things such as sunsets and woodland moments. Kings landing also holds a special place with me, and remains to be one of my two favourite locations to photograph! So a lot of photos from this special historic place will pop up on this feed. I also will occasionally post clients sessions as well! So to sum things up, I enjoy landscape, animal, and nature photography the most and love travelling to new spots to capture one of a kind views. I do also dabble some in macro, portrait/family, and wedding photography as well as I try growing my skills while I take various courses and learning opportunities on! One can never stop learning! I always encourage sharing of my work if you enjoy it (or are in it), and am thankful for every share as it helps promote my business. My only ask when sharing, is making sure you either directly share one of my post, or by including credit where it is due please. :)

On February 17th, the new moon marked the beginning of the Chinese New Year, bringing with it the year of the fire horse!

For those of us who have horses, we know that there is much joy and love to be held in balance with hard work and commitment, even on the hard days, to keep these beautiful creatures alive and well.

May we look ahead to a year of resilience, with a freeing of the spirit that is led by burning passions, while maintaining a grounded outlook from years of putting in the work to get to where our dreams and desires have led us.
