An exciting moment for me when I found out recently that these photos from my photoshoot in Singapore made it into the local news there.

The news article interviews Miss Earth Singapore finalist Melissa "Pearl" Gan about her advocacy for second hand clothing and sustainable fashion. In fact this dress worn in our photoshoot was purchased second hand for significantly less than brand new.

Happy Friday! I'm excited to finally share a bit of this really hot photoshoot we did recently. The goal here was to show off a muscular physique in a glamorous urban portrayal and I think we nailed it as it turned out much better than I expected.

Here is a fun playful shoot from Otakuthon with Rose.
I'm really happy sharing this one because she is actually the first cosplayer I ever did a cosplay photoshoot with way back in 2017! We had done several over the years but it's been a while since the last one, so it was really nice to reconnect again and capture her latest work.

One of the cool things about the art of cosplay are the props that go along with the character. Often times it's some elaborate or oversized weapon. But in this case, it's a musical instrument which I don't see very often. In fact, it looks so realistic, like a real working instrument. Wait, can it actually be played?

This was absolutely one of the coolest cosplays I saw at Otakuthon! The armor, the wings, the makeup, it was all so detailed and well done.

Unfortunately I have no idea who the character or cosplayer is, please help identify!

While I was in Singapore I had a great opportunity to connect with a local model who also turned out to be a finalist for Miss Earth Singapore 2026, and I can see why.
Tall and pretty with a glowing smile full of positive energy, we had a lot of fun with this shoot resulting in some of my best work so far!
