The Making of our First Steps Campaign.

Last week we shared the result, here is a look at the behind the scenes with photography brilliantly captured by Steve Walsh Photography 🌎💫

Behind every winning shot there is a small village of creatives cheering our talent on.

And before our talent steps on the set they are thoughtfully styled and pampered by our team.

As our beauty and styling team works on getting the models ready within, our lighting team prepares the light outside.

Location, location.

We went with this vibrant location as it offered us ample colour, light and lush greenery as a backdrop for our summer campaign shoot.

Touch ups between style changes.

Overhead shots with our producer giving a hand.

Art direction and styling with Dad while our PA Alessia entertains Lily.

Checking in on those shots and keeping those lips hydrated.

Quick selections and shenanigans.

Mirroring with our talent to get them into pose.

First steps. 🤍

In honour of our littlest talent this year, Lily — the star of this cinematic ad who is celebrating her birthday today — we’re flashing back to our summer campaign for 𝐋𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐎.

We wanted to tell the story of a real family balancing work and family life, caring for their kids while they’re home for the summer, and almost missing their daughter’s first steps.

We cast a real family: Lynn A Koshy of Folio Management, her husband wholegrain_kev, and their little girl, Lily. We also cast Juni from HUMANKIND to play the role of big sister.

In our original script, Lily walks toward Mom and Dad, and they almost miss the moment.

But on set, we kept rolling and held our breath as Lily walked from Dad to Mom for a second hug.

It wasn’t scripted. It was one of those little moments you can’t plan for and somehow, it became the heart of the film.

“Hugs!”
