Breaking the ice and making moves! 🥌✨
There was no better way to celebrate International Women's Day than at the Club de curling Laval-sur-le-Lac for their "Briser la glace" (Break the Ice) event! 🧊💪
Today was all about girls and teens discovering the world of curling in the most welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I had the best time capturing Theodora as she stepped onto the ice for her very first event. From learning the perfect delivery stance to the thrill of the match, she (and everyone else!) absolutely crushed it.

Stone Cold Success! 🥌✨
What better way to celebrate International Women's Day than watching Theodora hit the ice for the first time?
We spent the day at Club de curling Laval-sur-le-Lac for their "Break the Ice" (Venez briser la glace) event. It was such a fantastic, inclusive atmosphere for girls to discover the sport, and seeing her transition from training drills to a live match was a blast to capture.
The highlight of the day? Theodora stepped up in the final ends and threw an absolute beauty. It was so close we had to bring out the measuring equipment, but when the dust (and ice) settled, Theodora’s stone prevailed to secure the point for her team!
So proud of her for trying something new and showing such poise under pressure. Happy International Women's Day to all the girls out there breaking the ice!

Bling for the whole squad! 💍🏈

An incredible day at the Montreal Mavericks Mosquito Division Championship. Huge shoutout to both teams for leaving it all on the field—it was a battle from start to finish!

Seeing every player walk away with a championship ring was the perfect end to a legendary season. Hard work looks good on everyone! 💍🏈💪🏻

Theodora worked hard today at the Tournament Team Flag-football Tryouts. She's not ready to go yet. Fingers crossed. Hopefully she made the team. 🤞🏼

Despite the -30°C chill, Theodora showed true grit at her ID camp. She left it all on the field with peak Energy, Effort, and Enthusiasm. No heat required when you hustle like that! ❄️🏈💪
