The West Island community and nonprofit sector has been a longstanding part of my life and work, and I'm happy to continue my involvement.

I'm excited to cover Cocktail en Blanc for West Island Community Shares Partage Action de l'Ouest de l'Île, a fun, themed evening to raise funds for local community organizations.

What is the event?
Cocktail en Blanc is an unforgettable summer soirée at the exclusive Beaconsfield Golf Club, presented by AutoRevline Canada, with the support of Gold Sponsors Broccolini, Scotiabank, Volvo Cars West Island, Bravo Rental Experts, and Gentile Venues & Catering.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, making some new connections, and capturing the fashionable magic of the evening!

The weather is still comfortable until the end of October for outdoor maternity sessions, but what to do if you're having a winter baby?

🐣 Indoor home sessions work well because your home is your nest and can be especially cozy in the colder months. Worried about a messy home? Don't! There are always spots and angles to find - leave that to me and don't let it stop you from getting photos.

🐣 Combine your maternity session with your baby shower, as Jaimie and Colin did in the video below at beautiful Le Café de l'Horloge. A shower is a perfect time for photos, just before the festivities start, and you're already dressed and looking terrific!

🐣 Wear layers and brave the cold: Sometimes up until December it's still sweater weather! But cold doesn't deter. Plan for indoor AND outdoor photos so that you can be outside for a few minutes and then head back inside to warm up. The best of both worlds!
