Azores: a series from one of the most unreal places I’ve ever been.

First set of photos is of blue hour/ sunrise over Ponta Delgada! We stayed in the city and this was our view from the balcony.

Funny story…I had woken up early one morning before sunrise and quickly got my camera and tripod to take a mix of regular and long exposure photos. And, because I could see the clouds looming over the mountains, I didn’t think the sun would come out so I packed up my setup and headed back to my room.

As soon as I stepped into my room I saw some sunlight peaking through the closed curtains and when I looked out the window the sun was peaking in and out of the clouds and casting some beautiful rays of light over the mountains!

These are the results of blue hour and sunrise!

Azores: a series from one of the most unreal places I’ve ever been.

They don’t nickname this place “ the Hawaii of Europe” for no reason. My god, this place was so lush it made my photos look overly edited…

Looking forward to sharing my memories from this place that is half reality, half dream!

Stay tuned and follow along 😊

Today is World Photography Day and the theme is ‘Favourite Photo’.

What a hard choice to narrow down to a single photo so here is a selection of a my favourite photos over the last decade!

Hide and Seek at Dawn Series

A friend and I woke up for sunrise a couple of weeks ago, and to our surprise the moon was still up in the sky lingering, playing hide-and-seek amongst the clouds adding a bit of mystery to the images.

I absolutely love the results and the blue hour added some contrast to the glowing moon.

I also continued shooting my blurred water photos as I’m always looking at adding and refining that collection of photos.

Let me know what you guys think!

This series is titled ‘Of Light and Motion’.

This series is about fireworks reimagined - not as moments of impact but trails of light and motion.

Using a slow shutter and motion blur, these images are a record of movement transforming each exposure into a visual dance!

I fell in love with so many of the results that it was too hard to narrow down a selection so here is a collection of my favourites!

Share it and let me know your thoughts below 😊

Happy Tuesday!

This past Saturday, a friend and I went for Sunrise in Lachine where we were not only blessed by having the full Moon out, but we also had the Canadian Army with us 😂

While photographing the lighthouse, this one Goose in particular was posed perfectly in line with the lighthouse in the back and this is the result of that photo!

Let me know what you guys think!

Also, this is probably a top favourite photo of mine of this year!

Blurring the lines between photography and painting…

These images, though opposite in tone—one restrained in grayscale, the other bursting with color—are connected through their use of blur and softness.

These two images are some of my favourite photos I’ve taken in my photography journey. A walk after a rain session and delving into some experimental photography resulted in these poetic visuals.

I take photos of animals like they’re celebrities and I’m the paparazzi… minus the lawsuits 😂

Below, are some of my favourite photos that I've taken within the last year of the Tulip Festival in Ottawa, the Eco Museum (wildlife rehabilitation zoo), sunset at René Levesque park and the beloved horses of the Cavalry Unit du SPVM.

Happy Earth Day! ❤️🌎🍃🌳🐎🐺

Can’t put into words how stunning the results came out from my first sunset of 2025. I am super happy 😊

While my goal was to get to the Lachine lighthouse a little before sunset, a friend and I stopped on the way to grab a hot chocolate, which delayed our arrival time for sunset.

However, getting to the canal late was a blessing as we got there for blue hour and the sky was this beautiful blend of blue and pink/purple hues.

I am continuing with my blurred sunset series from last year as I am trying to curate and refine the collection for bigger ideas (an exhibition of this style would be stunning)!

The white you see in the image is the ice along the shore of the canal. With the panning technique and open shutter it blurred the ice down to a line.

Extremely happy with these results! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below 😊
