📸 **About Johannes:**

My name is Johannes and I’m a passionate photo enthusiast.
I first fell in love with photography and capturing moments in time at the early age of 10.
I decided to get into photography more seriously after 12 years of drag racing. What draws me to photography is that it allows me to express how I see people, the world and my surroundings through my captures. The photo genres that I like the most and tend to get drawn to are urban photography, urbex, portraiture and bo***ir.

✨ **Experience w. PixelMingle**

I’ve attended 2 Pixel Mingle events so far. The inaugural meet , and the joint event with PhotowalkMontreal abord the AML cruise.

So far, my favorite Pixel Mingle event hands down has been the with . The cruise itself was a culmination of perfect weather, an awesome collection of photographers, models, and creators in a unique, environment in which to create images.

What I love the most about the Pixel Mingle group is that it aims to bring together the Montreal photography community, and create a strong bond between photographers, creators and models. It’s something that has been missing in the Montreal photography scene for far too long.

I look forward to taking part in more of PixelMingle events when I’m able to. I would definitely encourage others to do so as well, no matter what level you’re at in your photography journey, and no matter what you use to photograph. The community is there to help you learn and grow.

Hello, my name is Stephanie and i am an amateur photographer based in montreal. I’m a versatile shooter. Im still figuring out my style but my main focus are street and portraits.

✨ **Experience w. PixelMingle**

I participated in four pixel mingle events so far (the firdt event , Olympic park with , social event at , and the most recent one on the cruise with ) and first one would have to be my favorite because it was my first studio experience.

🗨️ **In Their Words:**

My favorite thing about Pixel Mingle events is getting the opportunity to meet and learn from different types of photographers and also meeting upcoming models. Pixel mingle also made me break out of my shell a little more and to not be afraid. There is no judgement here, everyone is so supportive and are still learning and creative in their own way. I also love seeing photographers do photoshoots with the models they met from the events. It’s something I would like to do eventually in the near future

Je m’appelle Pauline et je suis photographe basée à Montréal. Je me spécialisé dans la photographie de portrait et d’urbain, avec un goût prononcé pour le style cinématique et le jeu sur la vitesse d’obturation. Ce qui compte le plus pour moi, c’est de réussir à transmettre des émotions à travers mes images.

✨ **Experience avec PixelMingle**

J’ai eu la chance de participer au tout premier événement Pixelmingle, et ça restera mon favori. C’était ma première expérience en studio et grâce à l’événement, j’ai énormément appris sur la gestion de la lumière, l’interaction avec les modèles, et bien d’autres aspects techniques. J’ai également eu l’opportunité de participer aux deux événements suivants.

🗨️ **Dans leurs mots:**

Ce que je préfère lors des événements, c’est le partage de connaissances et d’expériences, ainsi que les rencontres avec d’autres photographes et modèles. J’ai beaucoup appris à chaque événement, et ces rencontres m’ont permis d’organiser d’autres collaborations en dehors des événements. Chaque photographe a sa propre vision, approche et sensibilité. C’est fascinant de voir comment chacun interprète et aborde le travail avec les modèles.
