Discovering Ferrah at NYBFW felt like stepping into a novel I didn’t want to leave.
A world shaped for the literary, the deeply romantic, for those who live through pages and feelings. I was completely captivated 💭

And on slide 9, a moment I won’t forget.
He’s a big part of why I loved this show. asked me a few thoughtful questions and turned them into a poem, all while we were surrounded by something that felt vintage, erudite, almost otherworldly.

I’ll always be so grateful to Daria for pointing me toward this show. She knew.
Thank you for listening so closely and caring so deeply, you are truly seen, my friend 🫶🏼

NYBFW 😮‍💨

I feel so lucky to have been in those rooms, surrounded by that level of creativity, intention and extreme beauty.

The Bridal Fashion Week is more than fashion. It’s the moment where imagination becomes something you can feel.

And this is only the beginning. So much more to come!

Some French expressions don’t really translate…

Ce je ne sais quoi
À fleur de peau
Un air de déjà-vu
Mon chéri
Fiancé
Un élan du coeur
À demi-mot..

It’s the language I grew up with, so sometimes it just comes out naturally, because it simply feels more poetic.

Less clinical.
Less about being efficient.

French lingers.
It expresses feeling, nuance, art, in a way that is soft, subtle and deeply emotional.

You don’t always need to understand it.
You just feel it.

Lately, I went through a deep curation exercise, revisiting years of personal and commissioned work.

I had to choose the images I love most, even the ones I sometimes think others might overlook.

A pattern appeared.

The moments I’m most drawn to happen when people feel safe and seen. Showing up with calm and kindness slowly softens the room.

Documentary doesn’t mean leaving you alone. True candor needs emotional safety. That’s where the images I love most come from 🫀

Documentary moments aren’t random or accidental. They’re noticed, preserved and gently shaped by someone with the experience and awareness to know exactly what to look for 👀

Couples who say they don’t want anything staged often imagine being left alone, but true candor still needs care.

Not performance, but presence.

I read the room quietly.

I understand complex family dynamics.

I sense shifts in energy during high stakes moments.

I protect the emotional integrity of the day.

That is discernment. That is curation.

In twenty years, this will matter more than the centerpieces. I create for spiritually grounded families who value refinement without rigidity and depth without spectacle ❤️‍🔥

I often say I’ve been doing this for over 10 years because I stopped counting.

To honor this chapter and refresh the face behind the brand, because time does pass hehe, I stepped in front of the lens of .photo, the only person I trust to capture me honestly. Looking back through the years, I realized this journey began with my first wedding in 2009.

In between, I moved through different chapters, living in South America, photographing architecture and being an event photographer within Montreal’s electronic and rap scene, then l during COVID, creating a pre loved project called Beau Bibelot to keep going and stay afloat.

These years have tested me, made me question myself and lifted me to the highest emotions. Most of all, they’ve allowed me to live from my art and let it take me around the world.

At 12, I knew whatever I chose had to be artistic and open doors to different cultures. It feels almost written in the sky.

Looking back now is emotional. We are so quick to want more, instead of pausing to recognize how far we’ve come.

To my couples, colleagues and friends, this career exists because of you. You know who you are. Thank you for walking beside me. 🤍

I can finally share my favorite image of the year. It's the first one. Be prepared, more are coming!

In fact, every photograph in this series is a personal favorite of 2025 and I hope you’ll love them as much as I do. I also just noticed, half of this series was captured on film, endlessly grateful for Avan's grace and patience from . It reflects my hybrid approach so closely. I love moving between film and digital, choosing what best serves the image, whether it calls for quietness, patience, quick instinct, poetry or emotional depth.

Above all, I am deeply thankful for my couples’ trust. Being welcomed into such intimate moments is never taken lightly, and it is that trust that allows me to create with care, intention and joy.

May 2026 be filled with art and kindness for you. Until next year 🤍

You are allowed to let it go 🫠
To be loud, quiet, soft, messy, joyful, or completely undone.
You don’t need to hold it all together to be worthy of being seen.
There is beauty in the release and freedom in trusting yourself enough to follow it 💃🏻

Sicily and Puglia gifted me the chance to wander with nothing but my Hasselblad and a desire to capture honest, candid life. I loved to feel the rhythm of the streets and trust my instincts.

The last photo holds a special place in my heart. His name is Rosario.

Three years of practicing Italian suddenly made sense when I found myself truly connecting with him. He told me about his children in Chicago, his career as a trucker and how he still lives where he was born in Cefalù.

When I asked for a portrait, he looked at me with the most humble surprise “Me? Are you sure?” It’s not a perfect photo, the focus is off, I think I was a little nervous, but the tenderness of that exchange made it one of my favourite moments. It felt like talking to my grandpa again.

I’ll carry this moment forever, because it was the chance to offer a portrait to a man with a full life and so many stories, something I never had the opportunity to do for my own grandfather before losing him last February, a little regret that still sits with me 💔

Today, I'm sending this portrait to Rosario through the coffee shop owner he visits every day. They’ll print it for him. It feels like closing a small, gentle circle 🥹

Refinement has never been about excess. It’s about care, intention, and the quiet pursuit of beauty that endures. Sophistication feels thoughtful, not loud. It lives in the details, in the way something is created to last, and in how it makes you feel long after the moment has passed.
