Even though this seems to be a scene from the extreme polar regions; this is in fact another one of those magnificent and epic scenes from the one and only Iceland!!! I love that country so much!

These little cutie pies are Puffins... found in Iceland (amongst other northern places) during the summer months, from May to September! They are so cute, and funny to watch too! They seem a lot bigger than they are in reality, and sometimes referred to as the “penguins that fly” although they aren’t penguins at all! I was so happy to be able to photograph them when I was in Iceland during the summer a few years ago! They are so photogenic!! 🐧✌️🏔

A very moody scene at Jokulsarlon lagoon in the summer of 2015! It was a sunny day, blue skies and just perfect... until the fog suddenly rolled in from the ocean and covered the lagoon in the matter of 10-15 minutes. The scene changed so dramatically, but what gorgeous images I was able to capture! Iceland is gorgeous no matter what!👌

Driving down the F road from visiting vatnajokull glacier’s ice cap with Ice Explorers
The light in the fall in Iceland is so exquisite, leaving golden hues all around! Here you can see the glacial rivers, descending the melting glacier and heading toward the ocean. Such a beautiful sight!
