A few photos from a rainy day in Paris from a trip I took with my sister back in 2013. I never really shared these pictures before, at that time I had it in my head that Instagram was for iPhone pictures.

But considering the times and the nostalgia that's growing for travel or really any sort of activity outside our apartments/homes, I've been going through old photos and will probably be sharing quite a few more.

Honestly don't know if looking at old travel photos is helping or hurting my sanity at this point...

Spent the vast majority of yesterday sitting in this chair reading "Let the Great World Spin" – a book recommended to me by my sister way too long ago for me to have only read it now.

Sometimes I pick up a book and it doesn't land right with me when I know it should, and so I just wait. I don't try and force it I just wait until I pick it up again and it starts to seep in the way it should, when I can't help myself but to mark a line that gets to me. And so when at first I was dragging my feet trying to read this book a year ago, this go-around I ran through it in three days loving every line.

These are some self portraits I took back in March + I've interspersed some of my favourite lines that I marked up in this book.
