Gabriella and Eric flew in from New York with no shot list and one plan: an evening in Old Montreal. We walked the old streets at golden hour, then headed to Perché, the rooftop where they’ll host their rehearsal dinner, for espresso martinis surrounded by the European architecture. A first taste of their wedding weekend, a couple months early.

No poses to memorize. No stiff prompts. Just the two of them, and a photographer directing the evening so every frame feels like it happened on its own.

For the couples who’d rather spend the evening laughing than performing, this is how I work. Digital and 35mm film, one really amazing date.

A first look from
Because film is part of my process, I like to have those scans in hand before shaping the final gallery edit. It helps me bring my digital images into a cohesive finish that feels luminous, true to color, and aligned with the softness of film.

But I also know how exciting it is to see a few images right away. So my couples always receive an early digital highlight carefully edited in the Juno's style, with that light, natural, film-finished feel.
