WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T FEEL SEXY WHEN YOU ARE EXPECTING?!

Definitely not me!!

I always stand in awe of the capabilities of the female body.

Isn't just absolutely incredible that we can grow a tiny human in us? it starts off the size of a tiny seed and grows to the size of a watermelon!

I remember thinking "OMG my belly is getting so big!" At times it was hard to digest- not being able to shave or put on my own shoes 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyone remember that?!

Regardless, appreciation for the miracle that you are able to create can go a long way. Big belly, big b***s, swollen feet… but none of this takes away from the amazing capabilities of the female body.

Baby got back! So I decided to take a break from social media on this account for the summer… Simply because I wanted to.

Summer is busy enough with sessions and having the kids home that I figured why not.

🤷‍♀️Well I’m back!

So many new faces here and I thought it be really important to let you know why I became a Bo***ir Photographer. So here it goes

I think women do too much. I think we are way in over our heads with responsibilities. We are career women, mothers, chefs, cleaners, organizers, healers of all bobos, knower of where everything is. I don't think we are appreciated enough, I don't think we are seen enough.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In bo***ir photography, this is the complete opposite. I do it to give you a moment to be spoiled, to be seen, to be heard.

A moment where you have nobody asking you to do something (mind you I tell you what to do the whole session lol but that's different), nothing to think about but yourself, no responsibilities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Don't be a "Richard" aka DICK.

Why are women so hard on themselves? From feelings of mom guilt to nit-picking on the slightest PERCEIVED flaws on their bodies to not doing anything for themselves...

It's time to change the narrative. Shaming yourself is a choice, nit-picking is a choice, and putting others ahead of you is a choice.

Are we noticing the common denominator here? CHOICE.

So make a choice to give yourself grace, to see yourself positively, and to do something for yourself.

You deserve more, you deserve the best.

No Dicks allowed.

Do you feel like the world is heavy these days?

I most certainly do. We literally just made it through a pandemic and no sooner does more s**t hit the fan. War, mass shootings, and damn bills that infringe on our human rights.

How are we supposed to navigate in a world with all this evil? How are we suppose to raise and teach our kids, how are supposed to move forward.

Why is the concept of PEACE and not WAR so difficult to comprehend? Why is someone's LIFE not valuable to others? Why do some think they can take away our rights?

Lots of questions but not many answers. I think most of us understand and value these concepts. A world made of peace, love, and cohesion would be so much easier to navigate. So why can't we make it happen?

Did you feel like a part of you was lost when you had kids?

I did 🙋‍♀️

Of course there are amazing things that come along with motherhood but the not so glamorous things are often not spoken about.

They aren’t spoken about because we don’t want to be judged, We don’t want to be seen as a bad mother, we don’t want to be told well you should’ve had kids.

But the truth of the matter is it is fine to think and even speak about the unglamours of motherhood.

Actually a big part of starting bo***ir has to do with that.

I realized that if I was feeling that way FOR SURE other moms were to.

So what do the unflamour of motherhood have to do with bo***ir? A LOT

It’s brongs your sexy back, its something FOR YOU,
It boost your confidence, it’s a moment to NOT be a mom, a time to get glammed up (b bye mom gear), it’s a moment to be empowered and… you won’t hear “mommy” for a few hours.

ENOUGH WITH THE EXCUSES.

I’m not skinny enough, I’m not a model, I don’t look like the others…”

Some of the the reasons I have heard on why it's not the time to do a bo***ir shoot.

Let me tell you something...I’ve photographed the post partum body, the curvy body, the pre-kids body, the thin body, the athletic body, the pregnant body… all were equally beautiful, hot and amazing!

I’ve photographers the 20 something, 30 something, 40 something…all are equally beautiful, hot and amazing!

So bo***ir really is for EVERYBODY. And for EVERY BODY. No need to wait for the ‘perfect’ body, just find the beauty in you now and always.

In 20 years a from now you’ll be looking back as those pictures and thinking- DAMNNNNNN I WAS SO FINE🔥 especially that you have an album included in every collection!!!!

Of course, it's a misconception that bo***ir has to be n**e. While a beautiful n**e silhouette can be classy, feeling good in your chosen outfit is important. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are some of my favorite pieces:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. ♥️BODYSUIT. Oh I love these! The majority of my outfits in the client closet are bodysuits. Why? They are flattering on all boy types! they are hot but style comfortable, sexy but can still provide coverage. Always a winner. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. 🖤ROBE. Staple here. It can be layered, draped, and it can completely change an outfit. I love paring a robe with a sexy bra and underwear set. Actually, when you tell me you don't have anything all I suggest you get is a bra and underwear set. That's it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3. 💙OVERSIZED SWEATER OR BLOUSE. I freaking LOVE this look. Remember bo***ir isn't just about lingerie. You can really wear anything when you do a session with me. But there is something suggestive about only wearing an off-the-shoulder sweater or an oversized blouse with your bra showing underneath. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
