🐾 **FUNDRAISER FOR KENT COUNTY CATS — WIN A FULL PHOTO SESSION!** 🐾
Over the last couple of months, a little local cat rescue has become very close to our hearts. ❤️
** Kent County Cats ** is a small rescue organization in Kent County, NB, run entirely through **donations, fundraising, foster homes, and people who simply care enough to help.**
Right now, they have approximately **25 kittens and 14 adult cats in their care** and honestly, I’m probably forgetting a few. Some are mama cats caring for their babies, some are waiting for vet checks, vaccines, spays or neuters, some are recovering, and some are finally ready to find their forever homes.
And the bills that come along with saving this many little lives add up *very* quickly.
One kitten in their care alone is currently waiting for an approximately $1,200 surgery to have her leg amputated, and she is just one of so many cats and kittens depending on this rescue.
Last month, our family adopted our sweet Honey through Kent County Cats. 🐱🤎
And this month, we’re getting ready to welcome Hope, a sick little barn kitten who was given exactly that when Kent County Cats rescued her: hope for a new life. 🥹
Hope’s foster mama has been absolutely incredible. She sends us daily updates, lets us come visit for kitten snuggles, and has loved and cared for her while she gets healthy enough to come home.
Today when I went for my Hope cuddles, they had just returned from rescuing more kittens and adult cats from a barn colony.
It really put into perspective that while we get to see the happy endings, the Honeys and the Hopes who eventually make their way into loving homes, there are constantly more cats coming through the door who need food, litter, medication, vet care, foster homes and, most importantly, someone willing to fight for them. ❤️
So I want to do a little something to help.

The money raised will go directly to Kent County Cats to help with veterinary bills and the ongoing costs of caring for the cats and kittens currently in rescue.
And if a photography session isn’t your thing but you’d still like to help, they are also always in need of supplies!

These rescues are doing the work that most of us never see.. taking in the sick ones, the scared ones, the abandoned ones, the babies born in barns and colonies, and the mama cats just trying to keep their kittens alive.
Honey got her happy ending.
Hope is getting hers.
And there are so many more waiting for theirs. 🥹🐾
I would absolutely LOVE to see what we can raise together as a little thank-you to Kent County Cats for everything they are doing for these sweet babies and to help take even a tiny bit of weight off the mountain of bills that comes with saving them.
