Double and triple checked!!!

Off to the printer with two 24"x36" boards!!! That's a lot of info, and the vehicles at the bottom are 20ish inches wide!!!

In case you're keeping track. Four shoots (two with Wendell Greek last Friday, and two with Mark Laurie and Jason Scott early Saturday morning). Thanks to all of them for the quick turn around on comments/questions/concerns! I'd say that my turnaround times are linked to retirement, but in actuality, I've always been this fast... think about that...

Edit: And thanks to Bernie Michaud in Moncton, they're already printed and ready for delivery!!!! Team work makes the dream work!!!!!

Two more boards coming down the pipe!!!

LOTS of info on these builds. That means the owners/builders went with the 24"x36" option. Indeed, any size available within reason!!!!!

Still waiting for the final OK before posting the two boards, but in the meantime would you believe me if I told you I made the "1980" from the letters in "TRANS" that I pulled off the front fender??? Why would I lie? And no, no AI!!!!

Search "1980 Trans Am font" for yourself... nothin'!!!

This just in!!!

Looks like HiDefRods has another cover in a magazine not published by HiDefRods, LOL!

I owe A LOT to Terry Denomme, the publisher of Canadian Hot Rods Magazine and Muscle Cars Bone Stock & Modified!

In 2017, Terry asked me if I would work with him as an East Coast freelancer for his two magazines. He would find cool stuff on the East Coast and send me out to photograph it, interview the builder/owner, and submit a story and images for publication in the appropriate magazine.

In 2018 I photographed the three holy grail Mustangs owned by Rejean Desjardin. We set them up in a driveway and produced a cover. I was over them moon, as were the Desjardins

In 2019 I was confident enough that there was more the Maritimes could offer, so I decided to publish Maritime Rod and Custom magazine for five years. After I stepped back from my publication, I started working with Terry again.

For the past 18+ months Terry has been trying to bring more East Coast content to his magazines - read them and you'll see for yourself. My guess is that there have been no less than 10 features from here since the start of 2025!!!

I think there's a perception that the East Coast isn't as well represented as some think it should be. I'll counter that maybe the East Coast doesn't support the publications as well as they could - I'm speaking from MY experience, MY interpretation, MY analysis, MY conclusion, MY words.

The next issue will once again have one of my images as the cover. The Pickrem family builds some of the coolest stuff on this side of the country! They deserve to be recognized, not only on the cover, but in TWO features inside. The Pickrems support Canadian Hot Rods Magazine. That's not why they are being featured, but that's what you call full circle!!!

Finally, I wonder what 14 year old me would do if going through a stack of my dad's hot rod magazines would say if he saw his name on the cover??? Probably skip over it no doubt, but that for me is full circle.

Wendell loved the Willy's board.

Wendell had questions about the Toy Hauler board. If you look closely, there are minor tweaks to this copy compared to the intial. Wendell and I shared several emails throughout the day. Wendell asked about this, I gave him that. He asked what about this, and I said give me a sec.

My point is, THESE ARE YOUR BOARDS. I'm just the conduit that gets your vehicle onto something that represents it and you! Ask questions! Don't be afraid! It's all layers that can be manipulated to your vision!!!!

Thanks to all that made a go at trying to win the HiDefRods show board auction at the 1st Annual Bob Borden Memorial Car Show this past weekend.

If you weren't there, Larry Harnish was the ultimate winner!!!

The real winner is the Heart & Stroke foundation as your generosity helped me donate $500 to the Borden Family goal!!!

PSA to all the "photographers" that don't know an F-stop from a bump stop...

If you're going to enlist PS and LR tom-foolery-fakery, at least make sure you select the view through the windows in the back/sides of the car before applying.

Doesn't it seem weird that everything in the background is clear when you zoom in on the interior and look through the rear glass???

Better yet, buy the proper gear and learn how to use it...
