A groom from Ontario. A bride from Scotland. A chance meeting on ski patrol in Whistler that changed everything.

Family and friends travelled from near and far to gather in the mountains where their story began, filling the day with kilts, happy tears, endless laughter, and so much love. It was one of those perfect June days that felt almost too beautiful to be real.

Hiding in the bushes was totally worth it - I was able to capture this beautiful moment in this newly engaged couple’s life. In the spot where they had their first date he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him.
After I revealed myself we popped champagne and celebrated their engagement!
I’m so happy I was able to be there for this moment and share their in their joy!

They came from Alberta hoping to capture a different kind of backdrop, so we wandered through downtown Vancouver, played at the library, explored the park, and let two little boys lead the way.
