Hey friends—new faces and familiar ones!

I realized the other day that it’s been a while since I properly introduced myself, and with so many of you joining in the past little while, it felt like a good time.

I’m Esther! I officially started my photography business in 2019, but I’ve been shooting here in beautiful little Miramichi since 2022—and wow, what a journey it’s been.

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer who loves storytelling and all the in-between moments. Think less “everyone smiles at the same time” and more “Your grandma is tearing up during the vows” or “Your toddler is doing something chaotic and hilarious.” That’s my sweet spot.

When I’m not editing with a blanket over my head to block the screen glare (tell me I’m not alone?), I’m probably:

Playing a board game I’m way too competitive about,

Reading a fantasy or Scifi novel,

Watching Doctor Who for the 47th time, or

Stress-baking with an iced matcha latte in one hand and spinach dip in the other.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s trusted me to document their memories—it means more than I can say. And if we haven’t worked together yet… maybe this is the year? I have some fun things planned and can’t wait to bring you along for the ride.

Capturing the beautiful moments of this sweet couple's maternity session was truly one of my highlights of October. Working with them was a dream, and the love they share was so evident. Their little one is going to be incredibly lucky—these parents are ready to shower them with endless love!

Last month, I had the honor of capturing a beautiful extended family session that was truly heartwarming. This lovely family wanted to celebrate their newest addition, and as you can see, everyone was completely enchanted by her. It was a precious moment filled with peace and love!

The Carter Family

I had the pleasure of capturing the sweetest family's first session with their newest addition. Little Miss slept through the entire session while her new parents gushed over her cuteness. We had such a lovely time together. They traveled all the way from Saint John, and I am truly honored to have been entrusted with such special moments!

Charlotte and Jordan’s wedding this past weekend was nothing short of a dream come true. Every moment felt like it was straight out of a fairytale, with love and magic filling the air. From the beautiful scenery to the enchanting details, it was a celebration that felt like a beautiful story unfolding. I’m so honored to have been there to capture every precious moment. Wishing these two a lifetime of happily ever afters!

Capturing one of my close friend's maternity session was so special! Seeing her glowing with joy and excitement was amazing. I'm so happy I could be there to freeze these beautiful moments in time. It was a reminder of how wonderful friendship and the journey to motherhood really are.

Victoria + Sarah

When Victoria hired me last year to capture her engagement, I had no idea it would take until July to make it happen! With family emergencies, weather issues, and various other reasons, it seemed like it was never going to come together. We finally nailed down a date, which almost got rescheduled again due to weather, but we quickly adjusted and made it work! And wow, was it worth the wait! We had an amazing time, and everything turned out beautifully!
