Nearly two years after photographing her big brother as a newborn, I had the joy of welcoming this beautiful baby girl into the studio.

Nestled beneath a whimsical hot air balloon surrounded by the softest blush blooms, she looks as though she has drifted straight out of a storybook.

Watching families grow and being trusted to capture these moments year after year never loses its magic.

Some moments feel especially meaningful to photograph.

I first met this beautiful girl as a newborn, then again as a toddler, for her baptism, and now for her First Communion. Watching families grow and being invited back to document these precious milestones is one of the greatest honours of what I do.

There is something so special about preserving these fleeting chapters—the moments that, years from now, become treasured memories. To be trusted with capturing such important occasions in a family's story is a privilege I never take for granted.

This beautiful little girl was photographed with the intention of creating a beautiful custom-designed unicorn drop especially to honour the Year of the Horse in the lunar calendar — with a soft, whimsical, feminine twist.

There is something so incredibly special about watching families grow. 🤍

A few years ago, I photographed this beautiful family welcoming their first baby into the world… and now I had the absolute honour of documenting their newest little love.

This session was everything I adore — soft vintage tones, sweet simplicity, and a tiny little soul who gave us the most precious smirk before two weeks of age. Those early newborn days are pure magic. Sleepy stretches, curled little fingers, soft expressions that change almost overnight… they are fleeting in the gentlest, fastest way.

That is why newborn portraits matter so deeply to me. These images become part of your family’s story long after the newborn stage has passed. Because one day, the tiny baby in your arms suddenly isn’t tiny anymore.

If you’re expecting this spring or summer, now is the perfect time to reserve your newborn session. I photograph babies within the first 14 days whenever possible to create those beautifully calm, sleepy, timeless portraits.

Cherry blossom season always reminds me how quickly time moves.

I may be a little behind on posting lately, but truthfully… life has been far too beautiful to spend hours online. The moments happening behind the camera have been the ones worth holding onto most.

Nothing fills my cup more than time spent with my own family, and with the incredible families who trust me to document theirs year after year. This beautiful crew has been with me for so long that it’s hard to believe I first photographed their gorgeous girl as a newborn. Watching families grow through my lens will never stop feeling like an honour.

These sessions are about so much more than photos. They are about preserving the fleeting seasons of life before they quietly change again.

Cherry blossoms are finishing up over here… and if these blooms have taught me anything, it’s that the most beautiful moments never last nearly long enough. 🌸✨

It’s finally time 🌸

After watching the blossoms closely over the past few days, I’m opening Sakura Blossom Mini Sessions for this Sunday morning at our Burlington location.

This is a very short-lived window—the blooms are just about to reach their most beautiful stage, and with upcoming weather, this is our best opportunity for a weekend session.

These sessions are intentionally scheduled early in the morning to give you the most magical light and to avoid the heavy crowds—so your images feel calm, natural, and truly elevated.

I’ll be offering just 7 sessions total.
Once they’re booked, they’re gone for the season.

This is one of my favourite sessions of the year—soft blossoms, beautiful depth, and a fleeting moment in time that creates the most timeless artwork for your home.
