Jen Grégoire Photography

Jen Grégoire Photography My name is Jen Gregoire, I'm a fine art travel and landscape photographer. Hi there, welcome to my world!

My name is Jen, I'm a self-taught photographer and I've been drawn to photography my entire life. I truly believe I was taking pictures long before I ever owned my first camera. My full-time photography career started ten years ago when I opened a studio specializing in taking pictures of the most difficult of subjects: Pets of all varieties! I'm city girl born and raised, though I now reside in a

tiny rural town with my husband, three cats and a fabulous pug called Fergie. I’m inspired by my new surroundings and I endeavour to capture the magic in the landscapes that are constantly changing around me. However as much as I love home, I LOVE to travel and I am always looking for the next stamp for my passport. I try to tell stories in my photos and take people away to different places by adding a human element or by playing with color, size, shape and perspective. As Dr. Seuss said, “Oh, the places you’ll go!” The beach, the country, a city with ancient architecture…where can I take you today?

Is anyone else ready for winter to be done? ❄️
I’ve loved the quiet roads and those foggy mornings… but I won’t lie, I’m ready for a little warmth and longer days.
Sharing a few favourites from this past winter before we finally move on 🌾

Come on a road trip with me.
The kind where you take the backroads, lose track of time, and end up somewhere that feels familiar, even if you’ve never been there before.

I’m excited to share my exhibition,
The Long Way Home..mardaloop
April 2nd -13th (visit anytime during cSPACE hours)
Artist in Attendance
April 2nd 5:30pm - 8:00pm

These photographs come from years of driving Alberta’s quieter highways, stopping for places that feel a little forgotten but still hold onto their stories.
Old trucks, empty buildings, stretches of road that haven’t changed much. The kind of places that stay with you.

2025 broke me.
It caught me off guard and challenged me both mentally and physically. A lot felt uncertain this year, but photography stayed steady. I leaned into it when I needed something to hold onto. It gave me focus, grounding, and a way through.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, followed along, or quietly encouraged me along the way. It truly meant more than you know.
Looking ahead to 2026.

And that’s a wrap on market season! 🥰
Thank you so much to everyone who came out, stopped by, chatted, or supported my work in any way. Your encouragement truly fuels me, and I’m heading into the new year feeling so inspired. I can’t wait to share what I create next. Special thanks to .ca and the lovely Coreena from for snapping this photo!

"I’ve photographed this elevator a million times, but I’ve never caught this exact shot before! The reflection in the older building beside it makes it so cool. I can’t decide which one I like more— the first one shows the 'Alberta' sign really well, but the last one captures the shape of the elevator better. Which one do you like best?"

I call this print Something Special ♥️

Right place, right time! I was out photographing this beautiful old shop when this stunning red classic car rolled by. The owner had just fired it up for the first time in 15 years—it was his dad’s car, and he was taking it for a test spin. Such a cool moment to witness! 🚗✨

✨ Bucket shot achieved! ✨

As a photographer, I have a list of dream shots. I hope to capture one day—those "bucket list" locations that make my heart race. Yesterday, I finally ticked one off!

After spending three days in the mountains with no epic sunrises, sunsets, or even clouds, I was feeling pretty bummed. My goal was to photograph the mountains bathed in perfect light, but Mother Nature had other plans.

Determined to make the most of it, I set my sights on something I’ve always wanted to capture: the frozen bubbles on Abraham Lake! This shot is so tricky to get because the bubbles only form for a short window (mid-Jan to mid-Feb), and if it snows the night before, they can be completely covered.

I’ll be honest—I was a bit nervous to go out on the ice on my own! But thankfully, Brett from (not sponsored—just seriously amazing) provides ice tours! Brett’s a local who knows the area, gave us some information on why it happens, where to find the best bubbles 🫧, and gave me tips for safely walking on the ice.

It was exhilarating! The ice was so clear I could see everything below—it felt like stepping into another world. These quick phone snaps don’t even do it justice!

Have you ever been to Abraham Lake? Did you get to see the famous frozen bubbles? Let me know—I’d love to hear about your experience! If it’s still on your bucket list, I highly recommend going!

2024 in Review: My Favorite Photos. Looking back on the past year, these are some of the photos that really stood out to me. Each one has a story, a moment, or a feeling that makes it special.

The truth is, most of these didn’t get the spotlight they deserved—they were only seen at in-person events. I didn’t share them on social media, in my newsletter, or on my website. And that’s something I want to change.

One of my big goals for 2025 is to connect more: share the stories behind the photos, give you a glimpse into my creative process, and make these moments more accessible to everyone, not just those who meet me at markets.

So here’s to a new year of storytelling and connection. I’d love to hear from you—do you have a favorite from this collection? Let me know in the comments!
