hi! I'm Dru, im 19 years young and currently in my 2nd year of Georgian college. I love the arts and have always been passionate about them. By 10th grade 80% of my classes were arts-based, giving me the opportunity to receive many certificates in the arts fields.

I am bilingual with my native language of English and my second language is French. I graduated high school as a high skill major in the arts field as a "Protege" and even have the certificates to prove it.

Due to my background in Georgian bay, I have a love for nature photography and saving the environment. I love what I do, taking honour in my craft and working hard to make sure my clients get exactly what they need.

in each new post I'm going to try and talk about one reason I got into photography and why I fell in love with it.
reason one;
I've been doing photography for a long time now so bringing up memories like these is good for me. after 5 years of doing something- even something you love, you start to forget why you became passionate about it in the first place.
one of the very first reasons I fell in love with photography was the idea of being able to make money while making art and being in the arts field as a career. I've always been into acrylic paint and landscape art starting at the age of 4 and music with choirs etc but never found something that I thought I could make enough money to not be living in a box.
that's when one day In high school in grade 10 I wanted to be in the photography program. I mean- at that point I was getting most of my credits through art classes anyway, so what's one more? throughout the course, I realized how many actual job opportunities there are in the photography field. when I actually dove deeper into looking into photography professionally I found that it could be a really creative outlet for me. truly I enjoy making the photos get better and better over time because that's what art is all about, practice.
