June 2026 in Shelburne NS, it was another fantastic event with , hosted by ! The Valley Rump Runners were back with a solid team of over 20 people, who all participated in the run/walk through town.

It was inspiring to see so many people there at this event, all having someone (or was someone) who has been affected by colorectal cancer. Really - it was an awesome time! If you haven't checked it out before, consider coming for 2027!

P.S - I would be remiss if I didn't also use this as a moment to remind you to get checked! Colorectal cancer is the 4th most common cancer in Canada. There are typically signs and symptoms, and a simple test can help make sure you're in the clear. Seriously - get tested, friends. While toodling through a beautiful park in downtown Toronto, I ran into Saneea, the brains behind . When I say that I was swooning, that's no exaggeration! She had the most breath-taking art party set up, complete with flowers, umbrellas, snacks, easels, paints, and all things beautiful. She is efficient, friendly, and has a great eye for detail.

I've been busy travelling over the last few weeks - family vacation, work trip, and a spontaneous tour of a new-to-me city. If there's one thing that has been consistent through it all, it's that I've been meeting really amazing people from all around the world. What a great blessing!

It’s been a little quiet around here for a while, so I thought I’d better pop in 😄

Life and work and kids… you know how it goes. Seasons, am I right?

But the cool thing is, photography has still been here, chugging away in the background, creating new and meaningful ways to connect with people, cultures, and creation.

Lately, I’ve been getting excited about showing up here more intentionally again - sharing what I’ve been working on, the projects I get to be part of, and the incredible people I get to meet along the way.

The work I love most is still the same: natural, authentic, laid-back, real.
Photographing you in your element.

So here’s to a fresh season… and to stepping back in 🔆📸
