A little rain wasn’t about to get in the way of this wedding day! ❤️

Saturday morning started off a little wet, but the skies cleared just in time for the festivities—and from there, the day had a little bit of EVERYTHING.

Silliness with the kids, a sing-along on Nan’s front deck, private vows shared between the bride and groom, a visit to the amazing WJ Clarke Gallery Cafe, portraits on the beach, a gorgeous evening sky…and once the dance floor opened, some seriously questionable (but highly entertaining 😂) dance moves!

It was one of those wedding days filled with so many little moments—the kind that make every wedding unique and so much fun to capture.

Friday’s forecast called for a risk of thunder all day… but apparently Chantelle and Lucas had other plans! 😄

Right on cue, the skies cleared as the ceremony began, setting the stage for an absolutely beautiful day.

Dramatic skies, vibrant colours, gorgeous light, and a bridal party that was 100% down for all the shenanigans made this one SO much fun to photograph!

🎄 CHRISTMAS MINIS ARE COMING! 🎄

I know, I know... it’s only August. 😂 But Christmas Mini planning is officially underway, and this year I’ll be offering TWO completely different looks in my MARYSTOWN studio!

📺 FUN & RETRO CHRISTMAS

We’re going back in time for this one!

Think panelboard walls, s**g carpet, colourful vintage furniture, tinsel and plenty of nostalgic Christmas fun. This set will be bright, playful and perfect for families who want Christmas portraits with a little more personality.

✨ CLASSIC CHRISTMAS PORTRAITS

For those who prefer something a little more refined, I’m also creating an elegant Christmas set featuring rich red velvet, deep green curtains with gold tassels, a white fur rug and a glowing “Happy Holidays” neon sign.

The image I'm sharing is an AI representation of the Classic set I'm planning, so the finished setup won't be an exact replica, but it gives you a pretty good idea of the overall look and feel.

And, as always, I'll have multiple seating options available so we can easily accommodate kids, couples and families of different sizes.

Saturday brought us another phenomenal wedding day! Cozy AirBnbs, beach ceremonies, ATV rides to cabins and private beaches, then an outdoor reception. My cheeks almost hurt from laughing so much with this couple and their friends and families.
