Neighbourhood strolls, spontaneous cuddles, coffee stops, and soaking up this gorgeous Vancouver fall weather! I’m reposting this session cause I just can’t get enough!💫

This relaxed family session around Commercial Drive in East Vancouver, with a little stop at MAH Coffee Shop, was all about capturing real connections, genuine laughter, and those beautiful in-between moments…and and maybe a little chocolate croissant 🥐

I’m so guilty of always wanting to do more, grow more, and be better that sometimes I forget to give myself credit for how far I’ve come.

This little business of mine means so much to me, and getting to capture your families, your milestones, and your memories is something I’ll never take for granted. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LIFE. 🤎🐎

Not every love story needs a grand backdrop.

Sometimes it looks like denim on denim, dusty boots, horses in the distance, and the man you love standing beside you.

Sometimes it’s an ultrasound photo held between two hands…proof that the little life you’ve been imagining is already becoming part of yours.

And sometimes, the most beautiful photographs happen when you stop trying to make everything perfect and simply let the story unfold.

A growing belly.
A familiar hand on her belly.
A farm that feels like home.
Horses quietly watching from the field…and a baby girl who already has an entire world waiting for them.

This wasn’t just a maternity session.

It was a little glimpse into the life they’re building.
And honestly? What a beautiful life it is. 🤎 so glad we found each other Karly. XO

✨📸🤩 One minute I’m photographing all the little details they spent months planning.

The next… I’m fixing a broken bustle with a sewing kit I found right after cake cutting and before first dance.🧵🪡

Then I’m running through a field taking sunset portraits while trying not to fall backwards. HA 👯🤭

And somehow by the end of the night, I’m sitting at the dinner table laughing with the couple and the guests like we’ve been friends for years.🍽️

Wedding photography is so much more than taking pictures.

It’s problem solving, storytelling, calming nerves, hyping people up, and being fully present for one of the biggest days of someone’s life.

And honestly… I wouldn’t trade it for anything and couples please note, I LOVE every min of it!!!!💫💛 …honestly such a joy and pleasure to be part of the ride.

When I get invited into your home for a family session, please know I’m not looking for perfection. 🤍

And even though this first photo is posed and may seem “perfect,” once I arrive, it becomes so much less about me and so much more about you.

You are the director of your own story.

I’m simply there to document the connection, the personality, the movement, and the little moments that make your family unique. Whether your kids are running wild, someone needs a snack break, or the house feels beautifully lived in…that’s the magic.
