NANCY SINATRA in 1968 at age 15 in her walk-in closet.

This picture has been in my files for a long time to remember my experience at the same age in my grandmother's walk-in closet. I loved looking at the beautiful pieces from the Edwardian era to the fifties that she wore and I consider it to be the beginning of my fascination with vintage clothing. Miss Sinatra's collection appears to be more contemporary.

These two cherubs have been modelling for me for over 30 years!

Morgan is modelling a fifties hat, a Mary Maxim sweater circa 1960 and 30s rubber boots.

Lauren is modelling a 50s poodle skirt.

These beautiful gowns and crinolines were donated to the collection made by hand by the late Pat Lawrence who was involved in square dancing with her husband. I was honoured to feature one of these dresses in one of my vintage fashion exhibits.

Taken in the mid sixties at the Annual Fur Dinner at the Beaver Club in Moncton. First prize....a mink stole for one lucky attendee, My mother is on the right....I still have that beautiful silk and lace, fit and flare dress in my collection. Oh, how times have changed!!! Wonder how much hair spray these lovely gals had to endure before going on stage!
