With our country facing threats from abroad, it's important to have a better understanding of our history. This is an opportunity to learn about where we came from in an entertaining way. Last year's event was standing room only and was truly amazing.
Dr. Ian and Sharon Weir will be presenting the second Art and Artifacts Exhibition! Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with Dr. Weir's presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m. This is a world-class event being offered at no charge. Be sure to attend on Friday evening! I will be on hand doing the video work on behalf of Ian & Sharon. Hope to see you there. Join us at the Magnetawan Community Centre.

It's kind of funny, but also a little embarrassing. I teach photography, yet when I pulled out my Nikon D610 from its cozy drawer near the door, it felt like I was trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded! I spent a whole five minutes "relearning" the camera, which really just meant playing an awkward game of button hide-and-seek. Honestly, Nikons haven't changed that much—more like a makeup refresh than a full makeover. But switching from a good old DSLR to a mirrorless model? That's a different beast altogether! Thankfully, while I was having my little tech meltdown, the sun's rays were starting to make an appearance. It all worked out in the end, but I definitely felt like I needed to take my own refresher course.🤣
