Our approach to wedding portraits: create 2-3 tiny pockets of 10-ish minute portrait times so: 1) you get to hang out with all of your favourite humans as much as possible!; 2) you don’t get fatigued during what is a really big fun day!; and 3) you get lots of variety in both the lighting style and backdrops of your couples photos. Our most favourite portrait time? When everyone is digging into their salad, we love stealing you away to take in your very own wedding day sunset and capturing some of that magical golden glow! 🥂

Wedding day tip #48605 Take a moment to get away from the hustle and bustle and just SLOW down, together, hand-in-hand, face-to-face. Some of the sweetest examples of our couples doing this have been to take in their sunset together, hiding away in a back room and eating hors d’ouvres and ch*****ne in hiding(!), or practicing your first dance in your empty reception space before everyone sees it. This will create sweet little core memories throughout the day that belong to just the two of you ✨
