It’s happening. Holiday season has officially entered the studio.
I picked up my first holiday campaign today and, as much as I hate to say it …
It’s time to start thinking about your holiday content.
If you’re planning holiday promotions, gift guides, bundles, launches, Black Friday sales or just want some fresh festive content for your socials, now is the time to start planning.
Because holiday photography takes a little more than throwing a Santa hat beside your product.
There are products to choose, concepts to plan, props to source, sets to build, images to create and then, of course, ALLLLL the editing that happens afterward.
And suddenly it’s November and everyone is wondering where the time went.
The earlier you plan, the more intentional (and less frantic) your holiday content can be.
So consider this your friendly reminder:
If holiday sales are part of your marketing plan, holiday photography should be too.
And if you’re thinking, “Michelle, it’s still August. Please stop.”
I hear you.
But your future November self will thank you.
