Red Balloons Photography London Photographer specializing in Maternity, Newborn and Family Portraits Hi! First of all I would like to thank you for stopping by!

I am a mom to One super sweet little boy and wife to a wonderful supportive husband, and without either of these two men in my life I wouldn't be where I am today. I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember, and started taking a few classes back when digital wasn't so mainstream. That's right....I date back to traditional film photography, where each and every shot counted.

Although there is a true art form to film photography and I loved mastering 35 mm and Medium format, I am forever grateful for the invention of digital. It has allowed me to push the limits of photography as an art form and experiment with out the "fear" of making a Mistake.... Allowing me take your family memories, and turn them in to beautiful pieces of artwork. After taking a small break from photography (during the rise of digital) I developed my passion for Newborn and Maternity photography after my baby boy was born, and realized that my digital point and shoot camera just wasn't cutting it any more...I ventured out to own my first DSLR. And as I know the story goes my desire to do more then take a few snapshots grew...And hear I am today.

I first photographed this sweet boy as a tiny newborn, and now his family is coming back in just a few weeks to welcome his baby sister. There is no greater compliment than a family trusting me again for their next chapter. These moments are exactly why I do this work.

This is what I love most about newborn photography. 🤍

It's not just about taking a pretty picture — it's about capturing all of that softness, that tiny perfection, in a way that truly lasts.

The "before" shows exactly what I see when a baby arrives — a beautiful, fleeting moment. The "after" is what you'll hang on your wall, what you'll show your child when they're grown, what you'll treasure for a lifetime.

The difference is in the light, the details, the intention behind every frame.

"It doesn't get easier, it just gets different."

I say this at almost every session — usually when a parent is apologizing for a fussy baby or a toddler who won't cooperate. But honestly, I say it because I need to hear it too. I've been through the newborn fog, the toddler chaos, the school drop-offs that wreck you. Each phase trades one hard thing for another. What helps is knowing you're not failing — you're just in the middle of something. 💛
