This is honestly my favourite part of a session day. 🌸

Before anyone arrives, I'm here — laying out the wraps, adjusting the light, making sure every little detail is ready. I fuss over it because I know what's coming.

A brand new family. A baby who has been someone's entire world for nine months and just arrived in it. Parents who are running on no sleep and every feeling at once — excitement, overwhelm, wonder, exhaustion, love in a way they didn't know was possible.

My job isn't just to take beautiful pictures. It's to make this feel easy. Gentle. Unhurried. Safe. So that when you look at these images years from now, you don't just see your baby — you remember how it FELT.

I come to this work as a parent too. I know how fast it moves. I know the moments that slip before you think to grab them.

That's why I do this the way I do it.
