Will Riccio and I spotted this muskrat at Henderson Lake on September 1st at 8:34pm. It was barely visible as it was dark and my ISO was 51,200 - maxed out! Nikon does very nicely in dimly lit situations and this is testimony to that. To put it into perspective, it would normally be shot at ISO around 400 so I was pushing it.

Will and I were very happy to see this little red necked grebe baby after watching the nest for hatchlings for over a month. When we gave up on the eggs hatching, this little miracle popped it's head out of momma's feathers!

A Lincoln Sparrow in Waterton rested on a burned tree from the 2017 Kenow wildfire. It's been 9 years and although greenery is growing back, it's sad that it will take so long for the forest to recover tree growth.

Great Horned Owlet, Coaldale, AlbertaWe got to watch the 3 owlets grow up. Very cool experience.
