Who does street art belong to? The artist, or the street? If you put a sealed box of art into the world & it goes missing, is it theft?
Kash's "Temperance" is gone now, but it lived at this very busy intersection for months.
Someone said I shouldn't talk about the "bad" things that happen with our projects, because it "spreads h/te".
But I challenge that.
The Art of Curiosity is an experiment. There's no way it can fail. That it existed, even for a fleeting, feathered moment.. is already a success.
What happens after that is just performance art.
Street art is forever evolving; this ephemeral nature is part of what makes it special. It reminds us to appreciate the changes in our environment.
Love it, appreciate it, steal it or destroy it.. by participating, you become part of the art, too. 💖
And isn't the goal of all art to touch people, one way or another?
