J’ai rencontré Roger à l’Anse-aux-Baleiniers à Fatima.
Il m’a raconté des souvenirs d’enfances, un port qu’il y avait jadis, d’où il était bon de se rassembler entre amis.

Partie 1

40e édition de châteaux de sable à la plage du Sandy Hook sur l’île Havre-Aubert aux Îles-de-la-Madeleine.

J’ai pensé revisiter les châteaux de sable le lendemain de la compétition pour le lever du soleil. Je voulais les photographier sans la foule pour pouvoir mieux se concentrer sur ces œuvres d’art uniques faites par les Madeliniennes et Madelinots.

The 40th annual sandcastle competition at Sandy Hook Beach on Havre-Aubert Island in the Magdalen Islands.

I decided to revisit the sandcastles the day after the competition to catch the sunrise. I wanted to photograph them without the crowds so I could better focus on these unique works of art created by the people of the Magdalen Islands.

« Résilience » est ma toute dernière publication dans le journal local Le Radar des Îles-de-la-Madeleine.

Le foin de dune qui comme un mini conifère, deux espèces fragiles, debout malgré tout, qui me rappellent ma Côte-Nord chérie, Baie-Comeau.
