Let's talk engagement sessions!
For alot of couples, this may be your first time having professional photos taken together, so it’s completely normal to feel a little unsure going into it!
The most common things I hear:
“We've never had formal photos taken before”
“What do we do with our hands/eyes?”
“What should we wear?”
Here’s the good news - you don't need to have any of that figured out because it's my job to guide you through it! I'll help with outfit planning, prompts, & I always encourage my clients to be themselves because that's when we create the most magic ✨
The most common things you'll hear me say:
"It's natural to feel awkward in front of the camera at first, everyone does!"
"Let's create some movement"
"Just focus on each other & pretend I'm not here"
Your engagement session should feel fun & natural - plan it like any other date night, rather than just a photoshoot! Most importantly, it's a break from planning your big day just to focus on spending time together 🖤
