Hey friends,

Following yesterday's horse show, I had a bit of a kitchen mishap that once again proved I won't be appearing on Top Chef anytime soon. 😅

Unfortunately, I managed to severely burn my palm and three fingers, and while I'm doing okay, it is incredibly painful and has made even simple things (like typing and editing) a lot more challenging than usual.

Because of that, I will be temporarily pausing the booking of new clients for the next few weeks while I heal. If you're already booked with me, don't worry, you're still good to go!

For those waiting on galleries from recent events, I'm kindly asking for a little extra patience when it comes to editing and delivery times. As many of you know, photography is my passion, but I also work a full-time job, and editing never happens overnight. It definitely won't be happening overnight now with one hand operating at partial capacity.

Thankfully, we're living in the age of technology, and I've been relying heavily on the magic of talk-to-text to answer emails, messages, and inquiries. If my responses seem a little unusual, you can probably blame my phone for translating my rambling into something creative.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support while I heal. I appreciate every one of you and can't wait to get back to doing what I love, preferably without setting myself on fire in the process.

We’re hiring in September!

We’re looking for someone to join our team in a combined role that includes some teaching and barn work (feeding, turnout, blanketing, and general daily horse care, no mucking out required).

We run a busy, well established kids’ lesson program focused on safe, quality horsemanship for beginner to intermediate riders. We’re also eventing focused and regularly attend jumper and dressage shows.

This is a full time position with a set weekly schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The role can be flexible and has the potential to evolve into mostly teaching over time. Horse experience is important, and teaching experience is a bonus, but we’re happy to find the right fit. There may be an opportunity to bring your own horse.

We offer a supportive team environment, competitive pay based on experience, consistent hours, and paid vacation.

We are located in Windsor, ON. Check out our website at www.windsorequestriancentre.org
