We got the idea for iPOLPO while sailing: we took great photos of passing sailboats, but there was no way to share these shots with the sailors in them unless we exchanged emails (not always possible on the high seas) ... so we realized that if photos could be posted by TIME and by LOCATI

ON then anyone could search/find their photos globally! We live in beautiful BC, Canada and there is sooo many fun things to do outside like cycling, running, hiking, rock-climbing, parachuting, boating, swimming in ocean or lakes, kayaking, driving on winding roads, whale watching, skiing ... the list is endless and so are the photos that we could take of each other.
