It's so wonderful to see equine photographers talking about this! Working in this way has been a natural crossover from my horse-centered, trauma-informed work as an equine bodyworker. Sometimes it takes longer, but it is always worth prioritizing the comfort and welfare of the horse in the photoshoot.
