Some performances are remembered for their applause. Others for their quietness.

This session with Isadora Digiovanni Isadora and Michelle Burley became my favourite set from the showcase. No costumes, no stage lights, no audience—just two dancers immersed in their craft.

I stood quietly behind the camera, watching movement become conversation. The stillness, the trust, the precision, the emotion—everything felt honest.

Their energy felt both gentle and powerful. There was a quiet strength in the space between movements—a connection shaped through years of dedication to the same craft. Bodies moving in harmony with the stage, each gesture carrying intention, each pause carrying meaning. No audience, no spotlight—just two dancers fully present in the moment.

These photographs are simply a reflection of what was already there.

Isa and Michelle, it is always a privilege to watch and photograph your artistry. You are an inspiration to the next generation of dancers.
