Today’s post is a little different... it's personal. ❤️

I want to give a huge shout-out to my friend and fellow photographer, Amanda Kopcic of Amanda Kopcic Photography & Videography for capturing these beautiful memories of our daughter, son-in-law, and our sweet grandson, Bennett.

Could I have taken these photos myself? Absolutely. But after talking it over with my husband, we realized that for this special milestone, we didn't want me worrying about getting the "perfect" shot, making sure every little detail was just right, or missing out because I was behind the camera.

Instead, we wanted to simply "be present", soak in every moment, and truly enjoy this special time together. So, I called someone I trust completely—my talented friend Amanda—and she exceeded every expectation.

Photography is an art, not a competition. One of the things I love most about this industry is supporting other artists and celebrating each other's talents.

Of course, I couldn't resist adding my own creative touch afterward! I designed collages and wall art for both our home and the kids' home, and I absolutely love how everything came together.

Thank you again, Amanda, for preserving these memories so beautifully. They are something our family will cherish for years to come. ❤️📷

Today we're taking it back two years to Jaxton's unforgettable Creekside Session... and what a beautiful reminder it is of how quickly childhood changes. 💚

These are the moments that seem ordinary at the time, but become some of our most treasured memories.

It's amazing how much can change in just two short years, and we're so grateful to have been able to freeze this little chapter in Jaxton's story.
