🎁 I got a $400 carbon-fiber tripod as a gift… and I’m RETURNING IT. 😳

At first, I was impressed with the Ulanzi × COMAN Zero-Y.
Carbon fiber ✅
Super lightweight ✅
Compact ✅
Premium-looking ✅

Then I mounted my camera… and found THIS. 👀

The center column on the unit I received has noticeable play and movement even when locked.

For a tripod in this price range, and especially for professional filmmaking and real estate photography, I need rock-solid stability. If the tripod moves, my camera moves — simple as that.

Maybe mine is defective. Maybe this is how it’s designed. But I wouldn’t trust this particular unit on a professional shoot.

So unfortunately… the gift is going back. 📦

As a real estate photographer and filmmaker, I’m constantly moving — from one property to another, shooting photos, flying drones, filming videos, answering calls… and sometimes literally running while working. 😂

Two weeks ago, I picked up this drone… and I honestly didn’t expect this. 🤯🚀

From the first flight, it felt surprisingly easy, smooth and confidence-inspiring. But what really blew my mind happened AFTER I landed.

With the DJI Osmo 360, I can fly first and discover the shot later. 🔄🎥

Rolls. Flips. Dives. 🌲
Flying over the lake. 🌊
Then in post… completely changing the perspective and creating angles I never imagined while I was flying.

That freedom is something else. ❤️

Only two weeks in, and every flight makes me want to push it a little further.

Thank you, DJI, for making something this powerful feel this simple. 🙌

📦🔋 Unboxing & Setting Up the HOTA D6 Pro for My FPV Batteries

Time for a charger upgrade! In this reel, I’m unboxing the HOTA D6 Pro AC/DC Dual Smart Charger, taking a quick look at what it offers, and then showing the exact settings I use to charge my FPV batteries.

My setup:

🚁 Drone: GEPRC DarkStar22 DJI O4 Pro
🔋 Battery: GNB (Gaoneng) 3S 720mAh 100C LiHV — 11.4V
⚡ New Charger: HOTA D6 Pro
⚡ My other charger: SkyRC B6 Neo

After the unboxing, I’ll walk through my HOTA D6 Pro settings:

✅ Task: Balance Charge
✅ Battery Type: LiHV
✅ Cell Count: 3S (11.4V)
✅ Charge Current: 0.7A
✅ Cell Voltage: 4.35V
✅ Full Charge: 13.05V total

I also connect both the XT30 main lead and the 3S balance connector before starting the charge.

The biggest reason I upgraded? The HOTA D6 Pro gives me two independent charging channels, which is much more convenient when I have several batteries to prepare for a shoot. 🔥

⚠️ Always verify your specific battery specifications before copying charging settings, inspect LiHV/LiPo packs for damage, and never leave them charging unattended.

If you fly the GEPRC DarkStar22, this tutorial will show you the correct way to charge its battery using the SkyRC B6 Neo Smart Charger.

Balance charging keeps all three cells equal, helps extend battery life, and is the safest way to charge your LiHV packs.
