What an incredibly beautiful day spent with my best friend. Every wedding day is filled with so much love, emotion and magic, but this one will forever hold a special place in my heart.
There is something so surreal about being the person behind the camera for someone who has been part of your life for so long. I started taking her photos when we were just 14, and somehow, all these years later, I found myself capturing her marrying the person she gets to spend the rest of her life with. How lucky am I to have witnessed and documented so many chapters of her life, from the girl she was to the woman she is today?
One of the most beautiful parts of growing up together has been getting to watch our lives evolve side by side, while also watching my own photography grow and change along the way. We have grown through so many seasons of life, and somehow, my camera has been there to capture pieces of it all. To have a friendship that has grown alongside my passion is something I will never take for granted.
Getting to capture a day this meaningful for someone who means so much to me is a feeling I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to put into words. These are the moments that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. It’s never just about the photos. It’s about the people, the memories and the privilege of preserving little pieces of life that become priceless as the years go by.
I am so grateful we got to share these days together, and even more grateful that I get to look back on these photos and remember not only how beautiful your wedding day was, but how lucky I am to call you my best friend.
