It always seems to me as if the lavender was a little woman in a green dress, with a lavender bonnet and a white kerchief. She's one of those strong, sweet, wholesome people, who always rest you, and her sweetness lingers long after she goes away. - Myrtle Reed 💜 I finally had the chance to visit after years of missing their festival. It did NOT disappoint! 😍 Of course such a beautiful place called for a stunning portrait of my sister! Ain’t she a beauty! ✨

Yesterday was a DREAM!! I still can’t believe I do what I do sometimes! From day trips to the County, exceptional customer service and perks for having a camera in my hand - and real, true happiness working my craft! I don’t think things could get better than this! ❤️ A huge thank you to .beach and for making this day happen. The day wouldn’t have been the same without the beauty of modelling alongside Jesse. Sometimes when life gives you lemons, you have to bite your tongue. You didn’t ask for that s**t. Maybe you don’t even like lemons. Maybe you don’t see the use. The outcome of lemonade doesn’t stir your heart. That’s why I don’t trust life. When will it learn that lemons aren’t for everyone? What life finds fresh, maybe you find sour. What life finds useful, maybe you find a burden to carry. The art of it all? Finding the place where lemons fit. Finding the purpose of the gift from life. 🍋 That is my approach to photography. Please tell me I’m not the only one who gets irrationally happy when they see a bush or tree that is covered in flowers? ⠀

When I moved in with Hans, I asked if I was able to do some landscaping. Of course, he didn’t mind one bit! So one thing lead to another, and aside from weeding and the occasional lawn mowed - I’ve done nothing. ⠀

I’ve certainly had time to rework a few things, but why would I? The driveway is lined with soft green bushes with tiny white flowers. The existing gardens have roses, peonies, tulips, hostas and more! The largest tree, blossoms a sea of pink flowers. The smaller tree, white ones that are a bee favourite! & Finally, a bush that not only has YELLOW flowers, but often draws rabbits into the yard and provides shelter.⠀

You could say I have a little paradise here & I wouldn’t change a thing ✨💕 || throwback to crawling into flower bushes with
