Over the past little while, you may have noticed that things have been a bit quieter here on my page, and I wanted to share a quick update.
Recently, I’ve taken on a part-time role in Communications & Marketing, and it’s something I’ve truly been enjoying. It’s allowed me to grow creatively in new ways and has been a really exciting addition to my professional journey.
Photography has been such a meaningful part of my life for many years, and that hasn’t changed. I still love capturing moments, telling stories, and connecting with all of you.
At the same time, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on this season of life, both professionally and personally. While I’m certainly not “old,” the physical demands of certain sessions (especially newborn sessions that require long periods on the floor in less-than-ideal positions) have started to take more of a toll than they used to.
Because of that, I’m becoming more mindful of how I move forward. While I’m not saying goodbye just yet, I do recognize that the time will eventually come when I step away from photography.
For now, I will be taking on a more limited number of sessions throughout 2026, and I’ll be reducing the number of newborn sessions I offer each month. This allows me to balance my new role while also taking care of myself; something I’ve learned is so important.
Like many industries, photography has also evolved over time. Between shifting economic priorities and the rise of new technology, including AI and accessible editing tools, the demand has naturally changed. I completely understand and respect how people are choosing to spend their time and resources.
With all of that said - I’m still here, still passionate, and still incredibly grateful for your continued support over the years. It truly means so much to me.
