Throwback to July with Jesse & Zack.
An intimate elopement surrounded by mountains, lavender fields, roaming cattle, and so much love. I have adored getting to know these two and learning about their life together.
They are genuine, easy going, and just pretty damn cool.

Well, I wanted to do something that would feel epic, memorable, and push me out of my comfort zone for my 40th birthday. I think I did it. The past 6 months I have been learning to rock climb, and with a little ( or a lot) of guidance, I climbed the tower (Donkeys ears) behind me in this picture!

I can say it. I feel really proud of myself. My postpartum Mom self could not handle heights a year ago. But hey, we can change!

It was really fun, until about the 5th pitch, and then my nervous system started to feel a little toooooo high, and you could say by the time we reached our little summit I was so ready for the descent that I forgot my climbing shoes at the top, and couldn’t stop talking about getting down so I could celebrate with alpine spaghetti and a mountain margarita.

I got my dose of adventure in for the summer, and can’t wait to share more from this Bugaboo trip soon!

Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes and texts! I feel the love! Bring on this new decade!

Hey friends! 👋🏽
Today is the last day of my thirties.
I would be lying if I didn’t say this last year has been a big one. Thirty nine brought so many things, huge shifts. But I have always loved change, and the knowing that nothing stays the same. So, with that said, bring on this new decade of my forties, I am excited to see what’s to come!
Oh, but this post was meant to tell you I am celebrating by removing myself from cell service for a few days. I need some adventure in my summer, as I spend most of it with a camera in my hand watching other people celebrate.

So, if you are trying to get in touch you will have to wait.
