A good mail day - I sent out the last roll of film that will ever have a photo of our dog Archer on it. We had to say goodbye to him February 28th after his last van ride, one more Starbucks pup cup and a handful of family photos on that final roll of film.

Being a photographer I know how special these memories are and you always think you will have more time to capture them, but we really only have the time we are in right now. So make sure you do everything you can to cherish the time you get, and take those photos, keep those memories.

Did you know that we have an amazing associate team member? Her name is Brittany and we have worked together for years, photographing each other’s booked weddings, and supporting each other anyway we can.

Your girl squad is an important & supportive part of your wedding day. All these girls were the absolute sweetest and I loved getting to know them. did an amazing job with the florals, and I love that they were grown locally, so much hard work goes into a wedding and I am so grateful for local vendors who love what they do.

Also, I will never tire of this perfectly whimsical willow tree on site at Summerhill winery - It offers shade and the perfect backdrop to group photos.

Did you know that grows their own flowers and you can add a hand tied bouquet to your photo session there?!

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful venue here in the Okanagan and I love shooting there any chance I can get. I even have a maternity session already booked in for the spring and I can’t wait! Daffodils and fruit blossoms I mean come on does it get better than that?
