How did I do? π«£
When my buddy asked me to take pics at his show, I was unsure at first because I've never shot at a concert or show before. I've mostly stuck to portraits and weddings, and I wouldn't say I'm the most experienced with low-light situations.π¬
I said yes, and did some research. Now, my camera is certainly not the newest, and it's been a while since I've shot an event, but I decided I needed to at least get the experience. You'll never know if you don't try, right?
So these are some shots I took that night and edited. One thing with concert photography, is that bands are just excited to have photos of them in action, and aren't too picky if the photo isn't tack sharp focus or grain-free. Therefore, I tried to not be as picky as I normally would, and deliver any that I thought were good enough shots. I'm not saying they're not good photos, I'm just saying I don't usually deliver a blurry photo to a regular portrait client π
I learned so much from shooting and editing, and am excited for the next opportunity to learn more and get better.
For the first time ever shooting a show, how did I do? What tips do you have for me?
