One of my favorite parts of this job is being invited into places that hold so much meaning.

Every property has its own story, but what stands out most is never the landscape—it’s the connection. The horses that have grown up alongside them, the animals that are part of their everyday lives, and the memories being made in a place that truly feels like home.

Photographing these relationships is such a privilege. These aren’t just portraits; they’re a way of preserving a season of life and the bonds that make it so special. 🤍

I’ve photographed newborns, toddlers, families, and plenty of dogs—but horses were a whole new challenge.

As it turns out, getting a horse to cooperate can be even more challenging than a toddler.

But I love how this session was all about capturing the genuine connection between this beautiful family and the animals that are such a big part of their lives. The quiet moments, the trust, and the love were evident in every frame.

These images are a reminder that family stories aren’t just about the people in them—they’re about the relationships that make a house feel like home.

Among the wildflowers, these two shared laughter, love, and a beautiful connection with the angel who will always be part of their story.

Loss changes us, but love remains. It gives us the strength to keep growing, embrace new beginnings, and move forward while carrying cherished memories in our hearts.

A reminder that those we love are never truly gone—they dance beside us in every step, every smile, and every moment of joy.

A little cake, a lot of curiosity, and one very hungry caterpillar. 🐛✨

One of my favourite parts of designing cake smash sessions is incorporating the little things that are meaningful to your family. This theme based on a story that has become part of this families everyday memories together.

I love taking those special details and transforming them into something beautiful, timeless, and uniquely yours.
With thoughtful styling, minimal colours, and plenty of room for her personality to shine, this session felt playful, sweet, and full of meaning.

The tiniest details often tell the biggest story.

The way a newborn flexes their feet with stomach discomfort.
The little fists tucked tightly against their chest.
The flaking skin, milk bumps, sleepy stretches, and chubby hands that already feel impossible to forget.

After photographing hundreds, maybe even thousands, of newborns, I’ve learned that babies communicate so much without ever saying a word. Every movement, reflex, and tiny expression is telling us something.

Experience has taught me when to pause, gently reposition, or simply let baby rest comfortably.

That’s why my approach has always been gentle and baby-led. Just patience, softness, and creating space for your baby to feel safe while I document these fleeting little details exactly as they are.

As a newborn photographer serving the Okanagan, my goal is always to create timeless images that feel natural, elevated, and deeply connected to this season of life.

Because one day, those tiny hands won’t fit in yours the same way anymore — and these are the images that will bring you right back to the feeling of holding them for the very first time 🤍

There’s something undeniably different about an in-home newborn session.

The way your baby fits perfectly into the spaces you’ve already made for them. The quiet comfort, the slower pace, the meaning woven into every little corner of home.

Lifestyle sessions are less about perfection and more about connection. The cuddles on your own couch, tiny stretches in the nursery you dreamed up, the feeling of being together in this new season of life.

What I love most is creating images that still feel elevated and timeless while preserving the authenticity of your family exactly as you are. Soft light, intentional styling, and genuine moments — all without leaving home.
