This day was everything and had everything -- rain, thunder, intense winds, sunshine, and what felt like all the love in the world. Jaime + Makena embraced it all.

This day was extra special for us -- as close family friends to Jamie's family, we've photographed him from his track and field days starting at 9 years old, to his graduation, engagement and now his best day ever. When we met Makena, it was clear that they are everything to each other and we could not be more thrilled that we've been able to document their forever together, from the start -- congratulations to you both 🤍

Beyond your epic talent, representing SFU, BC and Canada, you are just the most remarkable human -- so sweet, smart, kind, humble, loyal, and funny. Simone. Words cannot express how amazing it has been to be this girl's photographer since she learned how to walk. Not only have I photographed her as she grew into the stunning, talented, kind, and humble woman she is today, as she graduates high school, but she is also family (chosen family) 🥰

Her rodeo success has her heading to New Mexico Junior College next month, with horses in tow to continue her education, train and compete on their rodeo team. What an adventure it will be!

Congratulations, Mo! We are so proud of you and know you will continue to do amazing things! I can't wait to see what you do next ❤️
