“Nothing can break my love for you.”

It is what we all have started to say to each other before we go to sleep or leave the house or just because we feel like it.

It started with Micah and Caleb and then, thank heavens, they got me in on it.

No matter what comes our way, I pray that this stands true. That we would love each other without ceasing. Unbreakable. Unlimited.

Today is our 14th anniversary and I am so grateful that this is our story. That through all of the grumpy days, all the sin that has been confessed, and in our most imperfect moments, nothing has broken our love for one another.

💕 Maria Joy Caroline Rempel has us wrapped around her little fingers. Our hearts have both grown an infinite amount and melted into a puddle. She is our little princess, God’s greatest, undeserved blessing to our little family.

We are ready to shout it from the rooftops!

We have hit every season on this long 6.5 year journey: The seasons of grief, contentment, longing, and now finally celebration. Our prayers changed from “give us what we want” to “give us more of You, God. May you be our enough.” At times, He was everything we needed. Other times, our hearts held resentment, fear and intense vulnerability.

It is an undeserved, unearned blessing to receive this gift, one we were never guaranteed. It is with great joy that we ready our arms to hold a new, sweet babe. April can’t come soon enough!

Thank you for the multitude of people who have prayed with us, cried with us, listened to our wrestling thoughts, and now celebrate this sweet news. Our communities have loved us unconditionally, through every emotion, trial and tribulation. We are in awe of God’s goodness that He would place you in our lives.

This spring, I had the pleasure of working with Danya on LITD by Danya. Danya's heart for those on the fertility journey comes through her knitted creations and reach into the community. In her shoot, we wanted to highlight the connection to Kamloops, her love of nature, and her beautiful creations that seamlessly integrate into both. I think we did just that!

Words like these are all a mom can ask for.

Caleb reminded me today of how hard motherhood had been for me in the beginning years. And sweet mercy, there is nothing more true.

But reading these words today, I know that through every battle of the wills we have waged and every tear we have cried together, God can do great things with a mother’s love.

With all my life and all my love, I hope his words never cease to be true.

I am ready to take my camera into your big, beautiful landscapes with your top-notch citizens and make some photographic magic.

I will be offering a number of photography services to this great region including multiple business and branding options, lifestyle celebration sessions, and very limited weddings. There might even be the occasional family mini-sessions thrown in there every once in a while!
