Kathleen Fisher Photography Wedding & Life Photographer I started my photography career by capturing abstract photographs of ordinary scenes down alleyways or along a trail.

I try to capture textures, colours and shapes in a way that we easily overlook at a quick glance. My desire for new experiences and connections with people has led my career to capturing life’s special moments. I specialize in couple/wedding photography but also shoot newborns, families, bo***ir, products and corporate events. A natural, personal connection with my clients is very important to me.

I work hard to fulfill your wants and produce a product everyone is happy with, all while creating a fun and happy experience. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. I am looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers,

Kathleen Fisher

“Dogs have a way of quietly becoming the heart of a home."

When I had the honour of photographing Waylon with his family, that love was impossible to miss. A dog staying close to his people, soft eyes, quiet loyalty, and the kind of love that fills the space without asking for attention.

Not long after these photos were taken, Waylon crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈❤️‍🩹

Looking through these images now, I’m reminded why documenting these moments matters so much.

Because one day, the everyday moments — the cuddles, the glances, the quiet companionship — become the memories we hold onto the tightest.

Waylon left a lot of love behind. 🤍🐾

"Vows spoken, hearts full 💓"

Every wedding has its magic, but the ceremony? That’s my favourite part. 12+ years shooting love stories, and I still tear up every single time. I’m officially a hopeless romantic.

"Sandy toes, sun-kissed nose, married life glow." 🌊💍

During my break, I spent some time scrolling through all the images I’ve captured over the years. It was eye-opening to realize how many of my photographs have never seen the light of day! (Unless clients chose to share them, of course.) How sad is that?!

I’ll admit—during downtime, I didn’t want to spend it in front of a screen drafting social media posts. Probably a sign that burnout was creeping in. How can one manage their time properly when they feel they are running on fumes?

Anyways, these images from Lindsay & Reid's beautiful wedding have been patiently waiting for their moment—and this week, they’re stepping into the spotlight. ✨

“Just two people, wildly in love, chasing light, fresh air, and forever — exactly where they’re meant to be.” ✨

As spring nears, it has me feeling excited (and honestly, really grateful) for the upcoming 2026 wedding season.

Some of you know, but many of you don’t… over the past while, I quietly stepped away from wedding work and took what I called my mental health break. At the time, I was deeply burnt out — trying to run a business while navigating some unexpected personal curveballs and big life adjustments.

Stepping back wasn’t easy, but I realized I owed that pause to my clients and, most importantly, to myself. I needed space to reconnect with why I started this journey in the first place.

As I’ve gently found my way back into the world of weddings, something became very clear: I truly love this work. Being a part of such meaningful, emotional days — documenting love in its most honest form — still lights me up in a way nothing else does.

This break has also taught me that it’s okay to say no, to create boundaries, and to build a balance between life and work that allows me to show up fully — both for myself and for the couples who trust me with their memories.

So… I’m back. With an inspired heart, clearer vision, and so much excitement for what’s ahead.

If you’re planning a 2026 wedding and looking for a photographer, I’d love to connect. I still have a few dates available 🤍
