Hi. I am Kevin Metz. A Landscape Astrophotographer. Over the past 5 years I have spent thousands of hours in pursuit of the darkest skies possible. My inspiration as a photographer includes Wildlife Photography and I am as equally passionate about the stars as I am fur. I travel and camp in locations distant from light pollution and often find myself in the company of animals so it’s logical that this complementary pair emerged. A wolf plays a key role in the story that brings me here. A tale where my geek science facts and a story that originates to where dogs and humans first met reveal common fundamental truths that deeply moved me. This story is a significant formative element in my creative design process, identity, and philosophy. An emergent true to me and by no means a mere construct.
