A family session in the hills just a few minutes down the road from your house where you often adventure together.. yes please!
Halloween candy bribes, hide and seek in the long grass, dance parties and doing our best to avoid all the cow p**p.
It was pure chaos (as expected) and ended up being more cardio than any of us were truly prepared for.

I absolutely love the opportunity to spend some time with couples. Getting to know the intricacies of their relationship and learning the ways to ensure that they feel comfortable in-front of a camera before their wedding day.

Story time.
My long time friend Jenelle, who was also a 2025 bride of mine. Referred me to Niki + Jordan whose wedding I photographed last year in Calgary. At this wedding I met Anna, who quickly became a friend of mine. Now Anna is married to her Jordan, I got to be there to capture it and Jenelle was my second photographer for the day.
Talk about a full circle moment.

This morning, all of my ducks escaped into my neighbours yard. doing a ducky recon mission with three kids under the age of seven went as well as you can probably imagine. Everyone is home safe and I guess today is fence repair day.

A wedding day without trending audio.

Anna and Jordan rented out an incredible penthouse & celebrated using ever part of the space. It was pure magic. From a rooftop ceremony and first look location to the bar where they had their first date then a living space reception all while a storm continued to threaten their day, but never once touched this perfect space.

I could not have asked for a better way to end my season then with these two and their closest loved ones .

Rain will only ruin your wedding day if you let it.
While these two had a beautiful outdoor ceremony planned, mother nature had something different in mind .
With a quick pivot, the ceremony space moved indoors and so did our portraits, we caught a little break in the rain and ran outside under a tree for a few minutes before returning to the party.
My unsolicited advice- Magic happens when you relinquish control and trust your team of vendors to make your day as a magical as possible . S+N thank you for leaning into the pivots & trusting me with capturing your memories.
